  21. PATH-MAN v1.13 r04/30/93 Micrometric <ASP>: PATH-MAN is a utility that searches
  22. the directory path elements of the PATH statement for a given file. The search
  23. file name may include DOS wildcard characters. The ERRORLEVEL variable is set,
  24. based on the results of this search, to allow more user friendly batch files -
  25. a graceful exit can be made when needed data files or programs are missing. Op-
  26. tionally, the path element where the search file is located may be displayed.

  70. PATH-MAN is being distributed as SHAREWARE. The SHAREWARE concept allows users
  71. to examine a program on a trial basis, at no (or minimal) charge, before pur-
  72. chasing it. In addition, by decreasing marketing costs, professional quality
  73. software may be distributed for a fraction of the cost of a comparable commer-
  74. cial product. Regardless of whether you register the program, please help dis-
  75. tribute PATH-MAN by sharing unmodified copies of it and its files with others
  76. on a private non-commercial basis. Liability is limited to replacing the soft-
  77. ware for registered users. There is no liability for any damage or loss caused
  78. by this software, directly or indirectly.

  80. You are hereby granted the right to use the PATH-MAN program for a thirty (30)
  81. day evaluation period. If you find PATH-MAN of value, and continue to use it
  82. after this evaluation period, YOU MUST REGISTER YOUR PROGRAM USE. Please see
  83. the file, PATH-MAN.ORD, for registration information. After the thirty day
  84. evaluation license period, if you decide not to register the program, PLEASE

  87. ╒╡ SPECIAL INSTALLATION INFORMATION ╞═════════════════════════════════════════╕
  88. 1.  To install the unregistered shareware version normally supplied on disk-
  89.     ette, copy the self extracting file "PATH@vvv.EXE" (vvv is the version) to
  90.     either a separate directory - such as "PM" - or a directory that is refer-
  91.     enced in the path statement. At the DOS prompt, change to this drive-direc-
  92.     tory, type "PATH@vvv" and press ENTER.
  93. 2.  To install the unregistered shareware version downloaded from a BBS, unpack
  94.     the file "PATH@vvv.ZIP" (vvv is the version) to either a separate directory
  95.     - such as "PM" - or a directory that is referenced in the path statement. 
  96. 3.  To install and "BRAND" the registered version, run the supplied program
  97.     "INSTALL".
  98. 4.  To run the program, change to the drive-directory on which it is located
  99.     (only if it isn't on a path referenced directory), type "PATH-MAN" and
  100.     press ENTER.
